On the 12th of June at 8 p.m. to the minute according to the plan of running the race the official results of the first summer rally «CHAIKA» were announced. 38 of 46 crews, which had started, finished the race. It is noteworthy, that as opposed to the technology (exactly for the reason of failure of the latter on the record hot over 64 years in Ukraine day most of the teams got out of the way), the people stood the trial of the heat and the difficult route of the 6 special sections in general 44 kilometers long with credit. The absolute winner of the rally once again has become Yegor Olesov and Alexei Tolubko’s crew started in Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X SST. It should be noted that exactly due to last three letters in the name of the fighting bolide of the amateur crew, which mean that the car is equipped with an innovative robotic transmission, Yegor, who has still not recovered from the last year's injury of his right arm, for the nth time for all that manages to reach the highest step of the podium.

In the class, created at the request of the owners of the turbocharged cars with engines of small volume - С МАКС, - the main struggle broke out among the owners of the «hot» SEAT. The winner has become Paul Khlystov and Artem Khorolskiy’s crew. In a not numerous class C 3200 for the cars with engine capacity of not more than 3.2 liters the guests from Kharkov, who have long ago become quite at home on the highways of «CHAIKA» – the pilot Sergei Kostiukov and Oleg Podlesnyi in Citroen C4, have won. However, the brightest struggle started in the most numerous class С 2000, where three crews at once pretended to the second place. Consequently, with an interval of two seconds the crews of the residents of Kiev Ivan Hohotva / Anna Markina in the roadster Honda S2000 and Kharkiv Oleg Podlesnyi / Sergey Kostiukov who changed their places in Citroen C4, have climbed on the second and third steps of the podium. The victory in this class has been unreservedly won by the «star» crew of Alexei Mochanov and Sergei Kravets.

And in the «lower» class C 1600 unfortunately to the winner of the last rally «CHAIKA» Alexandr Vovkotrub, Dmitryi «Dimas» Mikitenko, who due to the fact that the class C 1300 was never been formed because of the lack of filling got into higher class, has become widely known in the close circles of Kiev racing amateurs. As a result, «Dimas» has passed ahead of experienced Alexandr for full 13 seconds, which at the «CHAIKA» are practically equal the eternity.

Overall, however, the past rally «CHAIKA» has showed that the level of amateur pilots has been developed considerably over the past year and a «major league» of Ukrainian motorsport - Rally Championship of Ukraine - has already had the strong reserve.
